Accessorise, Accessorise, Accessorise!

Accessories are a great way to elevate any outfit, and summer is the perfect time to experiment with different pieces. Add a statement necklace or pair of earrings to a simple sundress. Otherwise throw on a colourful scarf to add some interest to a basic t-shirt and shorts combo. Street One & Cecil are my personal favourites for this because their scarf designs are always so on trend and additionally add a pop of colour.

Furthermore, don’t forget about your shoes, either! A pair of fun, colourful sandals or sneakers can make all the difference in taking your outfit from drab to fab.

Add Some Colour

Speaking of colour, don’t be afraid to incorporate some bright hues into your summer wardrobe. Whether it’s a bold red sundress or a neon yellow swimsuit. Adding a pop of colour can instantly elevate your look.

If you’re not comfortable going all out with bright colours, alternatively start with smaller pieces like accessories or a colourful bag

Play with Prints

Summer is the perfect time to experiment with fun, playful prints. Whether it’s a tropical floral print or similarly a bold geometric pattern. Adding a print to your outfit can make it feel more interesting and unique.

Don’t be afraid to mix and match prints too! Just make sure to keep the colours in the same family to avoid clashing.

Try New Silhouettes

If you’re feeling stuck in a fashion rut then trying out new silhouettes can be a great way to mix things up. Whether it’s a flowy maxi dress or alternatively a structured jumpsuit. Experimenting with different shapes can help you find new styles that you love instead.

Moreover different silhouettes can be more flattering on different body types, so trying out new shapes can help you find what works best for you.

Mix and Match

Finally, don’t be afraid to mix and match different pieces in your wardrobe. Pair a flowy skirt with a fitted top otherwise tuck a blouse into a pair of high-waisted shorts.
